Thomas Hudner was a preppie through and through, but when it came time for college, he chose the U.S. Naval Academy rather than an Ivy League School. Seen here in an ad for U. S. Defense Bonds, he also was President of the Senior Class, a three season sports star, and President of the Greeks to mention only a few. He went on to serve in the Korean War as a pilot and won the Medal of Honor.
