Title:

Abbot Rabbit Just Starting Out

Publisher:

Abbot Academy

Date:

1958

Description:

Abbit Rabbit, as spelled within The Circle, was a creation of Anne Metcalf Reiss of the Abbot Class of 1958. As yearbook artist she created the rabbit to provide a unifying character to compliment the "warring" Gargoyle and Griffin. This younger image of Abbit was taken before she had been polished by the Abbot Curriculum. A senior girl would never be caught with a slingshot.
